Human Birth System

Human Birth System in Home Acelines

In Home Acelines, Human Birth System (HBS) was an advanced reproductive technology designed to produce Acelinian humans.

It was employed by each state as a means of population control and management. Occupation and social status were typically predetermined at birth, as states held full authority to engineer each individual within the system according to current societal demands.

In each system, the core component that set one apart from another was the Human Developing Unit (HDU)--the system's heart, where Automateans (robotics ranging from microscopic to nanoscale) intelligently constructed humans according to a pre-coded blueprint.

Over thousands of years of refinement, only five globally recognized systems endured to produce humans, listed from oldest to newest by their initials: A.H.B.S., P.A.S.S., M.K.H.S., A.M.K.H.S., and N.A.S.S.

These systems generated all certified Acelinians, including those who were not native to the planet Acelines.

{ Its Background }

Over four millennia ago, when the gynocentric regime rose to power on a wave of misandrist ideology, humanity's sexual bond was severed. The World Assembly of that era, enthralled by the regime's radical vision, declared the "Human Birth System" the sole legal means of reproduction--erasing male biological involvement in human procreation.

Since then, thousands of artificial birth mechanisms competed globally, but only those capable of completing full gestation within three years or less were officially recognized. Within each system, pregnancy occurred entirely inside synthetic ecosystems, yet fetuses still developed head-down, mirroring natural human birth.

In nearly all Acelinian states, citizenship was granted only to those born through HBS. Biologically-born humans were confined to sheltered cities, typically located beneath major floating metropolises, and denied state citizenship.

In Home Acelines, a few systems operated for specialized purposes. For instance, in the men-only microstate of Meninacs, the local birth center operated a small-scale system capable of producing about a hundred sexual attendants annually.

The following is a brief overview of Human Birth System and its five globally recognized variants, each responsible for producing a distinct generation of humans. (Duration - 1:08)

{ Pre-A3700 Era }

Before A3700 (Acelinian year), various birth systems operated globally without unification under Home Acelines. However, a few early models significantly influenced later developments. Notable examples include: the earliest Acelinian Birth System (A.B.S.), the submatter-based Synthesis Human Birth System (S.H.B.S.), and the Metasynthesis Human Birth System (M.H.B.S.), an exported variant designed for use by colonized galaxian species.

{ Post-A3700 Era }

* Anthroplus Human Birth System *
(Initialism: A.H.B.S.)
A3700 marked the official deployment of A.H.B.S. across multiple Acelinian states. Invented about a decade earlier, the system gradually unified and replaced all prior birth mechanisms.

Proving its technological maturity, it gained rapid and widespread adoption during a nearly 300-year run. Its reliability, centralized control, and standardized methodology rendered all previous systems obsolete.

* Perfect Acelinian Sopholife System *
(Initialism: P.A.S.S.)
Developed by a male Earthling immigrant and genius scientist, Talen Le Brun, this was the most intricate system ever conceived. Though it operated for only four years, it left a lasting impact on all subsequent systems in a gynocentric world.

Using his secret formulae for constructing an invincible, non-aging body embedded with a vast neural network capable of receiving Cosmic Might, the system produced just three prototypes--Zenna Acelines, Meva Acelines, and Luvia Acelines--each designated a "Perfect Acelinian".

During the Falconian invasion, the system was destroyed, but its full blueprint was secretly sealed within Meva's necklace--unknown even to her.

{ Post-PASS Era }

* Multiple Knowledge Human Synthesis *
(Initialism: M.K.H.S.)
Built upon the framework of P.A.S.S., it was under development just before the Falconian Invasion, but progress ceased when the Acelinian world was plunged into devastation.

Development resumed when a core group of surviving scientists--having scattered across various states to evade the Falconian invaders--eventually reconvened. This submatter-based human synthesis marked a quantum leap in human creation, producing three sub-generations.

* Advanced Multiple Knowledge Human Synthesis *
(Initialism: A.M.K.H.S.)
As an ally of the Milky Way Supranation against the Falcon Empire, the Noble Coalition in Home Acelines sheltered top scientists fleeing from other galactic nations under assault.

Many of them remained after the Empire's defeat, repaying the Acelinians by advancing research and development in human creation. The result was the most mature and reliable iteration of M.K.H.S.--A.M.K.H.S.--which remains in operation to this day.

* Neohuman Adaptive Synthesis System *
(Initialism: N.A.S.S.)
Roughly two decades later, Acelinian scientists succeeded in forging a system reminiscent of P.A.S.S., but adapted for limited mass production. The resulting neohumans possessed nearly all the attributes of Perfect Acelinians, with the added advantage of exceptional adaptability to external environments.

Endowed with posthuman faculties, these several hundred prototypes were dispersed across Acelinian societies under official supervision to maintain harmony and stability.

{ Human Generations }

Since the invention of HBS, ACE-HUMAN became the global standard for testing and classifying newly created humans. Any human failing to meet 99.9% of the standard was disassembled into submatter (raw components) for reuse.

The PASS-Human generation, created by P.A.S.S., consisted of only three prototypes--Zenna, Meva, and Luvia--yet it profoundly influenced the design of all successive humans. (Avatar: Zenna Acelines)

The MKHS-Gen generation adopted the methodology of P.A.S.S. in a more compact and efficient form, establishing a new standard for engineered human creation. (Avatar: Coina Acelines)

The AMKHS-Class generation, developed by A.M.K.H.S. through mass production, represented the most mature human type widely present across Acelinian states. (Avatar: Usherra Acelines)

The NASS-Class generation, limited to a small number of prototypes, possessed the most advanced physical and cognitive traits among all Acelinians, though it remained in a preliminary development phase. (Avatar: Prototype 34 Acelines)

{ Birth Mechanisms }

The Human Developing Unit (HDU), the core mechanism behind human creation in HBS, evolved through four distinct iterations: Birth Mill, Birth Disc, Birth Core, and Birth Orb.

Birth Mill: A vast, rotating mill-like structure of interconnected sectors, each holding a "seed" acting as a synthetic human zygote. These matured into full humans, guided by life-engineering tech and microscopic Automateans.

Birth Disc: From a central birth tower, a pipeline fed into a spinning disc of gestational mucus. A radial array linked up to sixteen sectors, each infused with submatter ingredients. There, nano- and microscopic Automateans wove human form--from bone lattice to breathing flesh.

Birth Core: A high-precision spherical core integral to P.A.S.S., featuring a 17-metal-alloy outer shell, life-nurturing strata, and an inner chamber with visual monitoring and sonic surveillance arrays. It ensured flawless human creation in a secure, threat-free environment.

Birth Orb: Deployed in M.K.H.S. and later systems, a miniaturized Birth Core with a compact life-nurturing module, nurturing a human from seed, zygote, or hybrid. Each orb linked to a central tower for regulated mass production, operating hundreds or thousands in parallel.

{ Immortalization Model }

Established by the Earthling genius Dr. Talen, the model redefined the relationship between actual age (physiological state) and Earthling age (chronological years). It introduced a revolutionary aging framework based on submatter-level cellular regeneration (cyclical-life mechanism) that effectively halted natural decay after early development.

The model served as a technical benchmark for human aging in all subsequent systems. Earlier systems, such as A.H.B.S., followed a linear aging curve, mirroring Earthling biology. But with P.A.S.S. and beyond, systems like M.K.H.S. adopted a non-linear pattern: humans matured rapidly in early years, then remained physiologically stable. The common goal across all models was to sustain the body in its optimal state indefinitely.

For instance, at chronological age 26, a PASS human's physiological age was 20.2. At age 30, it was 20.66--demonstrating that as chronological years advanced, the rate of physiological aging diminished. The body retained youthful appearance and peak biological function despite the passage of time.

The diagram below illustrates the Immortalization Model in detail:

Physiological Age (Actual Age) vs. Chronological Age Earthling Age)

{ Body Decay Rate }

Also known as BDR, it was a metric used to predict physical decline over an Acelinian human's lifespan, charting maturation, peak condition, and eventual decay.

Each HBS used a distinct BDR curve to define expected biological performance. These curves also validated newborns--if a baby's projected BDR misaligned with the system, she was deemed unqualified and decomposed into submatter for reuse.

The invention of BDR reflected a broader goal: minimizing or eliminating physical degeneration. In systems like A.H.B.S., M.K.H.S., and A.M.K.H.S., humans sustained peak performance for most of their lives, followed by a brief decay--typically lasting from six months to three years--before death.

In the more advanced systems, most notably P.A.S.S. and N.A.S.S., a no-decay model was definitively achieved. Humans from these systems remained at peak condition unless affected by sudden death or external forces--they were considered biologically immortal.

The diagram below visualizes how Body Decay Rate evolved across human birth systems:
